PASADENA, CA — The partnership between Nature’s Bakery and No Kid Hungry continues, supporting the bakery brand’s commitment to fighting food insecurity in the US.

“We’re proud to support No Kid Hungry’s mission to help end childhood hunger in America, and with the support of partners like Ardent Mills, who joined us in contributing this year, we’re able to deepen our impact and support organizations that share our commitment to helping families flourish,” said Pilar Arellano, senior VP, marketing of Nature’s Bakery.

The Mars, Inc. brand will donate $150,000 to the non-profit in addition to more than 100,00 snack bars and 2,500 school supply kits nationwide.

“The support from partners like Nature’s Bakery is what fuels the critical work of No Kid Hungry,” said Allison Shuffield, managing director of corporate partnerships for Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign. “Especially during this critical time as millions of kids head back to school, we are grateful that together we can make sure every child has the meals they need to thrive.”

Earlier this summer, Nature’s Bakery celebrated the grand opening of its new $240 million Salt Lake City facility. The 339,000-square-foot facility has the capacity to produce nearly 1 billion bars a year.
