EAST HANOVER, NJ — Mondelez Global LLC has issued a voluntary recall on two varieties of belVita Breakfast Sandwich products manufactured in the US because of possible cross-contact on a manufacturing line, which may have introduced undeclared peanuts into the products.

This issue was found during an internal manufacturing inspection when the potential presence of peanut protein residue was discovered on the line used to make these products. There have been three unconfirmed reports of possible allergic reactions.
