CHICAGO — Enjoy Life Natural Brands announced a voluntary recall on June 30 of a limited selection of baked snack products due to the potential presence of hard plastic pieces. The company discovered this issue due to internal quality assurance surveillance.
The recall, conducted with the US Food and Drug Administration and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, is limited exclusively to the products and Best By dates listed in this document. It includes varieties of the company’s soft-baked cookies, chewy bars, breakfast ovals and brownie bites. These products are sold in retail stores and online in the US and Canada. No other products from Enjoy Life Foods are affected by the voluntary recall.
To date, there have been no reports of injury or illness received by Enjoy Life Foods related to the recalled products.
Consumers who have this product should not eat it. The product should be discarded but any available packaging should be kept.
