PARSIPPANY, NJ — B&G Foods announced a voluntary recall of three cases of a single date code of 6.4-oz. Back to Nature Fudge Mint Cookies with a Best By date of Oct. 2, 2023, after learning 18 boxes had been contaminated with peanut, an allergen not included on the box.

As of Feb. 1, 2023, there had been no reported allergic reactions. This recall was issued in partnership with the FDA and the third-party co-packer that produces the product.

Consumers allergic to peanuts should not eat the product and can return the affected product to the place of purchase for a full refund. For additional information, consumers can contact B&G Foods at (855) 346-2225, 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday, or on the Back to Nature website.
