ELGIN, IL — The Middleby Corporation announced its acquisition of GBT GmbH Bakery Technology.
With expertise in engineering and manufacturing high-grade industrial baking bread lines, baking experts of the Lünen, Germany, company have decades of experience in high-performance and large-volume product systems for bread, buns, sweet pastries and other baked goods.

Adding GBT innovation to our existing bakery portfolio will allow us to expand our offerings and customer base with new full-line solutions. Developing and installing specialty bread systems, tunnel ovens and conveyor baking systems, while offering products including dough dividers, weighers and proofers, the customer service addresses project conception, management, assembly, training, maintenance and service.
