LOS ANGELES — Known for its better-for-you, eco-conscious desserts, Lexington Bakes (LXB) announced the relaunch of its brownies and cookies in smaller portions. In response to increasing consumer interest in healthier snacking, the offerings will now include 25% less sugar per serving.

“We took a deep dive into this industry two years ago and have learned so much since we launched,” said Lex Evan, founder and CEO of Lexington Bakes. “Ultimately, listening to how people enjoy their treats is how we decided to transition our 5-ounce format to a bite-sized 2-ounce treat. With some traction, we’re ready to focus on a smaller size and a more accessible price point of $6 to unlock our growth potential.”

The smaller portion sizes are released in tandem with the launch of the company’s new “Nostalgic Treats. Better Than You Remember” brand refresh campaign. As the company expands its product portfolio, the brand packaging will feature bolder colors and bright messaging.

“Our new campaign communicates the luxury of Lexington Bakes,” Evan said. “It’s always been about reimagining the classic nostalgic treats we loved, simply, with real, organic, and fair-trade ingredients.”

LXB’s products are free of artificial ingredients, sugar alcohols, refined oils, soy and corn. The brand’s new size format and packaging will debut over the coming weeks with new and current retailers, including Erewhon, Pop Up Grocer, Lazy Acres, Equator Coffees and Good Eggs.
