The bakery will debut the refreshed packaging this month at Natural Products Expo West. It features the company’s color scheme and highlights Silver Hills’ key ingredient, sprouted whole grains. Each of the bread, bagel and bun packages feature a clear window to allow consumers a view of the product’s characteristics. The new packaging also highlights nutritional values and health claims, including non-GMO, organic and kosher.

The product reformulation includes enhancements to both the sprouting and preparation techniques, resulting in improved taste, consistency and softness. The bakery also improved the formulas for its signature Silver Hills products such as Squirrelly, The Big 16 and Little Big Bread. The products are now made from sprouted whole grains that are mashed to form the dough.
