PASADENA, CA — Nature’s Bakery, a snack and bar brand under the Mars umbrella, is under new leadership.
The company announced the appointment of Lauren Spear as its new CEO and GM .
“Thrilled to begin this journey with the incredible team at Nature’s Bakery,” Spear said via LinkedIn. “I’m energized by the momentum ahead and look forward to building our next chapter together.”
Spear brings a wealth of CPG experience to the role, holding leadership roles at companies including Nestle, Procter & Gamble and, most recently, Mars. As GM and CEO, she will leverage her background in brand building and growth to position Nature’s Bakery for its next era.
“Beyond her impressive background, Lauren anchors her leadership with curiosity, collaboration, and heart,” the company said via LinkedIn. “We couldn’t be more excited to have her lead our team.”
She succeeds Steve Gardiner, who served in the role since 2019 and transitioned away from the baking company in September.
