CHICAGO — Keebler has joined forces with Nintendo’s Mario Kart to bring consumers’ joy of snacking and gaming together through a tasty treat.
For a limited time, Keebler has transformed its Fudge Stripes cookie into a chocolate-and-almond flavored shortbread completed with a marshmallow fudge drizzle for a “rocky road” experience.
“For decades, both Keebler and Nintendo have been at the center of countless family memories,” said Alicia Mosley, VP of marketing at Keebler. “Through the Mario Kart Fudge Stripes Rocky Road cookies, we’re hoping to ‘power up’ the Elfin magic that happens when families come together.”
Customized by Keebler, the cookies resemble the Super Star and Lighting power-up shapes from Mario Kart, Nintendo’s nostalgic video game.
As part of the marketing push, Keebler is giving people a chance to win an exclusive mobile video game party for their neighborhood. The grand prize feature a GameTruck party for up to 20 guests.
