DALLAS — Kazoo Snacks, known for its upcycled water-saving tortilla chips, can now be found in Sprouts Farmers Markets nationwide.
The brand will be debuting its products in Sprouts retail stores with new packaging and new water-savings claims after adopting the water footprint methodology used by ReFED.
“Securing distribution within Sprouts has been a longstanding aspiration for Kazoo Snacks,” said Josh Death, founder of Kazoo Snacks. “We’re delighted to have earned a coveted spot on their shelves, which will allow us to connect with new customers nationwide. With our sustainable, upcycled snacks now available across the country, we’re one step closer to achieving our goal of saving 1 billion gallons of water by 2025.”
The brand saves 16 gallons of water per bag and utilizes 40% less whole corn by upcycling corn germ. Kazoo tortilla chips are also upcycled, vegan, kosher and gluten-free. Recently the company was named a winner in Good Housekeeping’s 2023 Sustainable Innovation Awards. The brand was also featured in Commercial Baking’s 2022 New Products Annual issue.
Kazoo Snack’s Tortilla Chips are available in the flavors Restaurant Style and Lime Zest for $4.21 per 11-oz. bag.
