ANAHEIM, CA and NEW YORK CITY — Junior’s Restaurant and Bakery and Mondelez International have collaborated to create a co-branded retail OREO cheesecake.
The cheesecake blends OREO cookies into Junior’s Original New York Style Cheesecake recipe baked on top of a crispy OREO crust and decorated with an OREO cookie wafer.
Debuting this fall, the partnership was announced earlier this year at the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association annual conference in Anaheim, CA by Alan Rosen, owner of Junior’s. The cheesecake will be offered for both foodservice and retail.
“We’re so honored that Mondelez chose Junior’s for a co-branded retail OREO cheesecake. It’s a marriage made in food lover’s heaven,” Rosen said.
Consumers can purchase the cheesecake at all Junior’s locations and through mail by ordering on the Junior’s website. The cheesecake is also available in retail markets such as Shoprite, Costco, Whole Foods Market, Walmart, Stop & Shop, Publix and more.
