WASHINGTON, DC — In a continuation of its advocacy efforts for the baking industry, the American Bakers Association (ABA) has set the dates for the next Bakers Fly-In and Policy Summit this fall.

Held in collaboration with the American Society of Baking and Retail Bakers of America, the Nov. 3-4 event will unite bakers of all scales and disciplines for a series of panels and discussions as well as meetings with lawmakers.

The event will also host the ABA executive committee meeting, the ATBI board meeting and joint programming for both boards on Nov. 3. To close out the day, a reception and dinner will take place for all ABA and ATBI board members and Fly-In participants, offering industry members a casual setting to connect.

Participants will visit Capitol Hill on Nov. 4 for a series of meetings with Congressional members and staff. The day will close out with a bakers dinner and an optional tour of DC’s iconic monuments lit up at night.

ABA has also designated an official room block at the Royal Sonesta Washington, DC, Capitol Hill. Registration for the event is now open, with prices increasing after Oct. 10. Visit the Bakers Fly-In and Policy Summit page for more information on the event.
