LAS VEGAS — As cannabis-infused goods climb in popularity, it’s clear that baking with green will make you some green.

But as lucrative as the edible business is, especially when it comes to baked goods, that doesn’t mean its easy. From legal regulations to R&D, there are many challenges and opportunities in this budding sector of the industry. And the Cannabis Central pavilion will be tackling them all at the International Baking Industry Exhibition (IBIE).

The Expo, to be held Sept. 17-21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, is teaming up with Cannabis Products on this new show feature in the North Hall. The pavilion will shine a spotlight on cannabis baked goods, allowing attendees to connect with suppliers and experts who have insider knowledge on this unique sector.

Topics to be discussed include R&D, manufacturing, navigating different legalities and regulations, labeling, packaging, sourcing, distribution and commercialization. As marijuana laws shift by the day across the country, it’s important to understand how — and how much — cannabis can be utilized in each operation.
