ARLINGTON, VA — EmergeCPG, a Food Industry Association-partnered industry program that helps early-stage CPG founders accelerate growth and trade, held a lunch and learn on June 29 hosted by Faire, a large online marketplace for independent wholesale. In this webinar, Faire shared information about the brand’s programs and the benefits of working with the company to boost brands.
Led by Julie Pryor, CEO of EmergeCPG, and Faire’s brand partnerships and brand success teams, the webinar covered how working with the company can benefit brands in the Emerge Industry Partner community as well as information to get started.
Faire’s team members introduced Faire Direct, a program that allows businesses to extend the company’s benefits to their retailers for free. It requires no contract, no fees or commission, allows free returns and a business can be on the market for an unlimited amount of time.
The Faire team shared that five times more orders are processed by brands that use the Faire Direct program, and as brands generate more sales and reviews, more momentum will be gained as well.
Once a brand is approved, it will receive a personal URL to its Faire page that can be shared with current and prospective customers. Once the Faire design team has the brand’s information, which can always be updated later, they build the shop and allow the brand to review it before it goes live.
New brands that create a page on Faire prior to the first week of July will be put into a directory to boost visibility to the page. This promotion includes a 10% discount match, meaning Faire will match any brand discounts up to an additional 10%.
Faire also features a sample program, allowing brand’s customers to sample products with free shipping and free returns on the first order. Brands can edit orders or add new samples at any time. The program is still growing and being made more effective.
