NEW YORK — Hippeas has expanded its chickpea tortilla chip line with the roll out of its new cheesy flavor, Nacho Vibes. The new flavor is in response to consumer requests.
Nacho Vibes have the crunch and taste of traditional nacho tortilla chips but are dairy-free, certified gluten-free and non-GMO. The chips have 3g of protein and 3g of fiber per 1-oz. serving.
“This product more than stands up well next to its mainstream competitor from a taste and texture standpoint, but that’s where the comparisons end because Hippeas Nacho Vibes Chickpea Tortilla Chips are vegan and contain the nutritional benefits of both protein and fiber as well as no artificial colors, flavors or ingredients of any kind,” said Julia Hecht, CMO of Hippeas. “Plus, these chips are made from sustainable chickpeas, so we feel good about this product on all sides.”
Nacho Vibes joins the current lineup of Hippeas chickpea tortilla chips, which includes Straight Up Sea Salt, Rockin’ Ranch, and Sea Salt and Lime. The full line can be found at Sprouts Farmers Market and select retailers nationwide as well as on Amazon.com and Hippeas’ website.
