NEW YORK — Emerging kids’ snack cracker brand cadootz! is poised for its next era with the completion of its seed funding round, led by early-stage fund Selva Ventures.
The line of crackers began development in 2023 and launched direct-to-consumer in 2026 with three flavors: Cheddar, Sea Salt and Ranch. The first production run sold out in under two hours, reflecting consumer demand for this kind of snacking innovation.
Boasting 5 grams of protein per serving, cadootz! are made with no seed oils, gums, emulsifiers, artificial dyes or natural flavors.
“cadootz! has all the makings of a category-defining, generational brand,” said Kiva Dickinson, founder and managing partner at Selva Ventures and co-founder of cadootz! “We believe cadootz! will become the ultimate shorthand for trust in kids’ snacking: a modern-day seal of approval for what families should feel good about.”
The company, led by co-CEOs Rachel Mansfield and Jordan Carpenter, raised more than $3 million. This investment will support the brand’s upcoming national launch in June, which will include a new, family-friendly pack.
