CHICAGO — IFT FIRST, set for July 12-15 in Chicago, will feature a stacked lineup of keynote addresses covering topics across supply chain, food safety, technology, regulatory shifts and more.

The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT)’s annual trade show will include a Policy and Regulatory keynote titled Regulatory Frontiers: Navigating Food Safety in a Changing World. Moderated by Anna Rosales, RD, VP of Science and Policy at IFT, the session will cover the latest developments in regulatory science, risk assessment and compliance.

Attendees will learn from Donald Prater, FDA acting deputy commissioner for Foods, as he explains how global standards are evolving to address novel ingredients, technologies and consumer expectations. The session will empower food professionals to anticipate regulatory shifts and proactively shape the future of safe, nutritious food.
