COLUMBUS, OH — Eban’s Bakehouse has issued a recall for its Sweet Indulgences cookie bites due to undeclared milk and soy allergens on the product’s ingredient label. According to the FDA, the labeling issue was uncovered during a routine inspection by the Ohio Department of Agriculture.
The recall impacts the 12-count multipack cookie bites and includes the following flavor varieties:
- Brown Butter Honey Pistachio
- Lemon Shortbread
- Brown Butter Snickerdoodle
- Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk
- Chocolate Chili Coffee Coconut
- Turtle Brownie
The products were available from January 30 – December 13, 2023, through the brand’s website, Premier Produce One in Columbus, OH, and the Gordon Food Service EPO/dropship program
