QUINCY, MA — Bay State Milling Co., a more-than-a-century-old family-owned ingredient company, was recently named a 2026 US Best Managed Company.

The program, sponsored by Deloitte Private and the Wall Street Journal, honors private companies demonstrating excellence in strategic planning and execution, commitment to their employees, financial performance, and governance.

In addition to being part of the 2026 cohort, Bay State Milling was also recognized as a Gold Honoree, given to companies that have earned the Best Managed distinction for four to six years.

Recipients are selected by an independent panel of judges who evaluate entrants on four key areas: strategy, ability to execute, corporate culture and governance/financial performance. This year, the selected companies are making investments in digital transformation and demonstrating their ability to drive growth and be resilient in a turbulent landscape.
