MILWAUKIE, OR — Dave’s Killer Bread (DKB), a Flowers Foods brand, is set to release Organic Rock ‘N’ Rolls this month.
The innovation is the first nationally available roll from the brand and satisfies consumer interest in diverse bread product options.
“Our customers are looking for more than just the traditional dinner roll,” said Cristina Watson, senior director of brand management at DKB. “The market showed a gap in whole grain options that still deliver on flavor, which inspired us to develop Rock ‘N’ Rolls using our flagship 21 Whole Grains and Seeds blend that our fans, whom we call BreadHeads, already love.”
The rolls are made with organic ingredients such as whole wheat, barley, oats and flax seed, boasting 12 grams of whole grains per serving. Rock ‘N’ Rolls were designed with versatility in mind, fitting an assortment of dayparts from snacking to sandwiches.
As with other DKB products, the new rolls are Certified USDA Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, and free from artificial ingredients, artificial preservatives, artificial colors and flavors, high fructose corn syrup, and bleached flour.
Rock ‘N’ Rolls come in a 12-count pack at an SRP of $6.99 and will be available in select grocery outlets nationwide beginning March 19.
