KANSAS CITY, MO — Through several strategic acquisitions in recent years, Coperion’s Food, Health and Nutrition (FHN) division has expanded significantly, bringing trusted brands including Bakon, Baker Perkins, DIOSNA, Kemutec, Peerless, Shaffer, Shick Esteve, Unifiller and VMI under one umbrella. The Coperion FHN portfolio was built based on proven track records in the baking, food and pet food sectors, each offering specialized expertise.

The company plans to showcase the systems and equipment integrations at iba, taking place May 18-22 in Duesseldorf, Germany, at Hall 12, Stand A41 and A51.

As unified brands, Coperion FHN now touts an end-to-end solution for production needs across multiple product categories.

“In the past year, we’ve been working diligently with not only integration but also transformation,” said Matt Craig, president of Coperion. “This has allowed us to focus on our food markets with bakers being a major focus.”

The consolidated business is organized by technologies across three core business units: systems and ingredient automation; fermentation, mixing, forming, dividing and baking; and dosing, depositing, decorating, cutting and spraying. Coperion FHN helps bakeries tackle some of the most complex challenges in today’s market.

“I don’t believe there’s anywhere else in the industry where bakers will find the breadth of knowledge that we now hold as a unified group,” said Blake Day, VP and GM for Coperion. “Whether it’s ingredient handling, mixing and dough feeding, or precise depositing and cutting, we possess a high level of inherent knowledge that our customers will greatly benefit from.”

This single-source approach gives commercial baking operators a central point of accountability for projects that involve everything from engineering and manufacturing to installation, training and service. By uniting all the brands, Coperion FHN ensures seamless communication across teams that regularly collaborate on large, complex integrations.

Bakers can also experience the Coperion FHN brands at the International Baking Industry Exposition, taking place Sept. 14-17 in Las Vegas, at its booth in the Baking Expo’s West Hall. Attendees at these major tradeshows can find out how Coperion FHN’s unified technology, teams and global support network can empower operations worldwide.
