“We started Bakeful because we believe families deserve a better option: a sweet baked treat that actually tastes indulgent and is made with real ingredients,” said Tony Davis, founder and CEO of Bakeful. “For too long, parents have had to choose between snacks their kids will eat and snacks they can feel good about. Our mission is to end that compromise. Launching at Target brings our mission to life at a scale that can now reach every family in America.”
The product lineup includes its Donutful Pink Sprinkle Dipped Mini Donuts, Muffinful Chocolate Chip Mini Muffins and Target-exclusive Brownieful Confetti Mini Brownies. The brand’s brownie line is the only mini on store shelves and aptly portioned with four per bag to appease various snacking occasions.
These mini sweet goods are designed with 25% less sugar than leading brands, boasting a clean-label ingredient list of cage-free eggs, unbleached flour and non-GMO chocolate. On a similar vein, Bakeful’s shelf-stable offerings are also kosher and made with no artificial colors or flavors.
Product releases focused on clean-label formulation and precise portions align with GLP-1 users’ shifting eating habits and major moves across the industry to clean up the labels for K-12 products.
