PARSIPPANY, NJ — B&G Foods, known for brands including Ortega, Mama Mary’s and more, announced the addition of Andrew Vogel to the company’s executive leadership team as executive VP and president of meals. Vogel will report directly to president and CEO Casey Keller.

“We are very pleased that Andrew has joined the B&G Foods team,” Keller said. “Andrew has extensive P&L, operational, M&A and strategy experience in the food industry, and we believe that he will be a valuable addition to B&G Foods.”

As the company transitions to a business unit structure, Vogel will become one of B&G Foods’ four business unit presidents, joining Jordan Greenberg, executive VP and president of spices and flavors; Ellen Schum, executive VP and president of specialty; and Kristen Thompson, SVP and president of frozen and vegetables.

“Andrew will be tasked with driving both organic and acquisition growth in the meals business unit, while at the same time navigating the business unit through the current inflationary environment and ensuring operational efficiency,” Keller added.

Prior to joining B&G, Vogel worked as SVP and general manager of the nut butters division of 8th Avenue Food & Provisions. He also previously worked for TreeHouse Foods and McKinsey & Company.
