ROBESONIA, PA — John Eshelman, director of pretzel and snack equipment sales at Reading Bakery Systems, has announced his retirement after 30 years with the company. It takes effect today, March 31.

He has been instrumental in the company’s growth since 1992 through his many roles at the organization. Past positions include manager of technical services, plant manager, director of technical sales and more.

Due to his vast experience, the company said Eshelman is considered an expert in the pretzel and snack process and equipment space, and has served as an excellent resource for his customers and colleagues alike.

“John is a true team player,” said Joe Zaleski, president of RBS. “We want to thank John for his many years of service, his many contributions to the company, and his commitment to RBS and its customers. It is with many wonderful memories that we wish John all the best in a well-deserved retirement.”
