In partnership with retailer The GIANT Company, both groups provided donations and volunteers to aid the Philadelphia-area food bank Caring For Friends (CFF). Airly donated a three-month supply of more than 13,000 packs of its Oat Clouds Snack Crackers to the food bank. This directly impacts the Philadelphia community CFF supports including homebound seniors, veterans, people with disabilities and children reliant on the food bank year-round.

“We acknowledge it will take big changes across the globe to tackle these societal issues, whether it’s climate change, hunger or poverty,” said Airly co-founder Jennifer McKnight. “While we may be a small food brand, we believe that together, small changes can make a huge difference, which is why we are honored to come together with The GIANT Company to support the mission of Caring For Friends.”

The GIANT Company’s donation included a distribution of non-perishable food items in addition to a $5,000 donation to CFF that the duo both made.

At the Earth Day festival, the Airly booth will offer samples of its product in addition to games, prizes and an appearance by Baseball Hall-of-Famer Ozzie Smith. Airly and earthday365, the nonprofit that organized the festival, share a goal of taking steps towards preserving the planet.

Airly’s booth will be along “Sponsors Row” under the Muny Box Office.
