VANCOUVER, BC — Eshbal Functional Food announced the appointment of Natalie Ben-Zur as VP, Online & Business Operations for North America.

This announcement follows a string of successful partnerships and acquisitions for the food company, the most recent being its purchase of Houston-based Gluten Free Nation, a producer of various gluten-free baked goods for retail, foodservice and e-commerce.

“As our activities in North America expand, bringing in experienced local leadership becomes increasingly important,” said Avi Marcus, Eshbal COO. “Natalie combines deep e-commerce expertise with a practical ‘get things done’ approach. Having someone with her experience on the ground strengthens our ability to scale sales channels and support the continued growth of our brands in the region.”

Ben-Zur’s background includes operations and e-commerce with a track record of scaling high-growth companies and leading digital transformation initiatives.

In the new role, she will work alongside Marcus to build and scale the food-tech company’s e-commerce and operational infrastructure. She will also manage and develop the e-commerce platforms and all direct-to-consumer channels.

“I’m excited to join Eshbal at this stage of its growth,” Ben-Zur said. “The company has built a strong foundation and a unique portfolio of brands, and I look forward to working with Avi and the team as we continue expanding our presence across North America.”
