PATTERSON, NJ — In pursuit of innovation across customer support and clean-label technologies, J&K Ingredients, a provider of natural and organic ingredient solutions, is entering a strategic partnership with Pallas Biotech Co., Ltd, a China-based manufacturer of natural preservatives.

With Pallas Biotech’s specialty in biofermentation and microbial strain development, the collaboration will combine capabilities across a range of functions — including R&D, fermentation, manufacturing and commercial execution — to support clean-label ingredient innovation for both companies.

J&K will leverage the partnership to deliver a coordinated end-to-end approach with enhanced supply security, accelerating development and commercialization timelines and agility in customer care across food and beverage applications.

Through collaborative R&D, the integration will enhance J&K’s innovation potential, building on its recent acquisition of intellectual property from NuTek Natural Ingredients.

Pallas Biotech will advance its goal of creating a more sustainable food and beverage landscape by providing technical, practical clean-label solutions for the baking industry and beyond.
