NASHVILLE, TN — Crown Bakeries announced the promotion of Brandon Waters — a longtime member of the baking company who most recently served as national accounts manager — to director of foodservice national accounts.

“Over the past decade at Crown Bakeries, Brandon has shown consistent growth year after year,” said Andrew Boyer, Crown’s chief commercial officer, who joined the baking company in March. “He has developed deep customer relationships, securing major accounts and is viewed as an integral resource by the entire sales team.”

Waters will now oversee the baked goods manufacturer’s national foodservice accounts and take on additional responsibilities regarding regional foodservice, limited broadline distribution oversight and specialty markets.

To fortify team development and knowledge sharing, Crown also made a strategic alignment to have George Lambesis, sales manager foodservice, report to Waters. This move leverages Waters’ experience and furthers growth opportunities.

“We are excited to see Brandon continue to grow in the next step of his career at Crown, and I am confident that he’ll continue to deliver strong outcomes,” Boyer concluded.

At the start of the year, the baking company refined its leadership team to pave a path for growth. This included the promotion of Yianny Caparos to CEO, succeeding founder Cordia Harrington.
