MUSKEGO, WI — Better-for-you snacks are capturing consumer attention and subsequently influencing product development within the commercial baking industry. In line with this better-for-you trend, Jackson’s, a fast-growing snack brand known for its use of avocado oil, launched Super Veggie Straws.

Created from a proprietary base of yellow peas, brown rice, cassava and sweet potato and fried in premium avocado oil, Jackson’s Super Veggie Straws are available in Sea Salt, Cheddar, and Ranch flavors.

“We’ve created something truly super: a veggie straw made from real ingredients you can pronounce and understand,” said Scott and Megan Reamer, co-founders of Jackson’s. “We’re proud to give families a snack that actually lives up to its promise — real ingredients, bold flavors, and no seed oils, just premium avocado oil.”

The latest offering from Jackson’s, similar to its existing portfolio of products, omits artificial flavors and preservatives. Free from the Top 9 allergens, the product is also non-GMO, vegan, gluten- and dairy-free.

Jackson’s Super Veggie Straws are available in 5-ounce resealable bags at regional grocery stores, including Hy-Vee, Sendik’s, Woodman’s, Weis and Market District in addition to online availability through the brand’s website and Amazon.
