KANSAS CITY, MO — The Society of Bakery Women (SBW), an organization dedicated to providing networking opportunities for women in the baking industry, announced the opening of its 2025 SBW scholarship.

The scholarship — aimed at baking science students attending Kansas State University (KSU), University of Massachusetts Amherst, Oregon State University (OSU) and Cornell University — will provide $1,250 to upperclassmen/graduate students and $750 to underclassmen to aid in their studies.

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is Jan. 16. Students can find the application form here.

The 2024 scholarship winners were Addison Brandau from KSU, Marisa Maas, Kelani Saez, Patricia Patricio from the University of Florida, and Sydney Baumgardner from OSU.
