MADISON, WI — In an effort to better serve its members, the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) combined its Marketing and Membership teams to form a sole Marketing and Membership department.

Corresponding with the internal restructuring, Whitney Atkins was promoted to VP of the newly formed department. Atkins previously served as the association’s global marketing VP, where she developed and executed marketing campaigns to grow IDDBA membership and brand awareness.

“Since joining the association, Whitney has led marketing efforts that have produced event and membership growth, while working hard for the association’s endeavors to support the industry year-round,” said David Haaf, IDDBA President and CEO.

In her new role, Atkins will lead growth initiatives and boost member loyalty in addition to implementing IDDBA marketing strategies.

“Doing even more to bring together the already strong collaboration of marketing and membership is exciting,” Atkins said. “This change will help us better serve IDDBA’s members and the industry.”

The restructure also offered the opportunity to move the association’s flagship tradeshow registration under the purview of Jeremy Johnson, VP of events at IDDBA.

“Our industry has experienced significant change in the last few years,” Haaf said. “These strategic moves allow IDDBA to better support the dairy, deli and bakery industries amidst those changes and into the future.”
