AMSTERDAM — Corbion, a sustainable ingredient solutions company, announced the acquisition of Novotech Food Ingredients’ Delhi, India-based bread improver business.

The deal will grow Corbion’s footprint as a global solutions provider and strengthen its presence in the Asia Pacific region. It also notes a pivotal step for the company’s expansion strategy in the Indian market.

Novotech’s bread improver business — known for its high-quality solutions — fits with Corbion’s current portfolio and will diversify its product range, allowing the company to meet the needs of global customers.

Earlier this year, Corbion sold its emulsifier business to private equity firm Kingswood Capital Management.
