MUSCATINE, IA — Grain Processing Corporation (GPC), a member of KENT Corporation, completed its purchase of the Natural Products Inc. (NPI) business.

Based in Grinnell, IA, NPI is a leading manufacturer of full fat soy ingredients made from non-GMO or organic soybeans. The company is also known for processing other pulses like chickpeas in addition to soybeans. Ingredients like chickpeas are taking the industry by storm in the clean label sector, with brands like Banza and HIPPEAS utilizing the legume to boost baked goods; protein profiles.
