EL SEGUNDO, CA — Quest Nutrition is reaffirming its role in better-for-you snacking with two new protein chip flavors.

Mexican Street Corn Tortilla Style Chips: This variety is seasoned with the bold and “swicy” flavors of roasted corn, chili and queso.

Pizza Tortilla Style Chips: Flavored with tomato and cheese, the new chips provide the taste of pizza in a snackable format.

“As more brands enter the protein snack space, it’s more important than ever to be clear about what real protein snacks should deliver,” said Mike Clawson, chief commercial officer and GM of Quest. “For more than a decade, we’ve pushed the boundaries of what high‑protein, low‑sugar snacking can be. With 13 chip flavors and constant innovation in our pipeline, we’re giving consumers more variety than ever while staying true to the taste and nutrition they expect from Quest.”

Both Quest Protein Chips varieties boast 19 grams of protein and 4 grams of net carbs per serving. The chips are also gluten-free and keto-friendly.

“While people have been critical of the high-protein movement, nutrition research consistently shows that typical snacking patterns tend to be higher in calories and added sugars, while falling short on protein and fiber,” said Dr. Jonathan Clinthorne, senior director of nutrition at The Simply Good Foods Co., Quest’s parent company. “Quest Nutrition’s snack portfolio is designed to help address these nutrient gaps by providing higher levels of protein and fiber with minimal sugar, helping consumers make more nutrient-dense choices when they snack.”

The new Mexican Street Corn variety is available exclusively at Target, and Pizza will launch exclusively in Walmart stores nationwide this February.

Last year, Quest Nutrition debuted its first-ever protein donuts.
