DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY — In a couple of months, thousands will gather at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany, to participate in interpack 2026.
“Especially in a challenging market environment, the industry needs a place for dialogue and orientation,” said Thomas Dohse, director of interpack. “Our task now is to view and compare concrete solutions and make well-founded investment decisions.”
In this edition, to be held May 7-13, interpack is turning its focus to three key themes: Smart Manufacturing, Future Skills and Innovative Materials. These Hot Topics, which touch on key subjects critical to the processing and packaging, are foundational to this year’s lineup.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with more than 2,800 exhibitors from 67 countries to discuss the latest in the processing and packaging industry. Halls 1, 3 and 4, specifically, will house exhibitors tailored to the baking industry, though Halls 5 and 6 and 11-14 will offer resources for the food and beverage industry overall.
Beyond the show floor, a series of specialty zones will amplify the interpack experience.
Located near the North Entrance, the Spotlight Forum will host industry professionals as they discuss current developments and strategic issues in processing and packaging. Nearby, the Start-up Zone will elevate up-and-coming companies making waves in the industry. Other experiences include the presentation of the WorldStar Global Packaging awards and the Women in Packaging event. SAVE FOOD will also have a presence at interpack 2026, with the global alliance holding several expert talks and competitions to address the prevention of food waste and loss.
