SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MI — Ethel’s Baking Co., a gluten-free brand specializing in dessert bars and cookies, announced its launch in Walmart’s in-store bakeries (ISBs).
Walmart ISBs will now feature a better-for-you bakery set of Ethel’s gluten-free Pecan Dandy, Turtle Dandy, and Raspberry Crumble dessert bars.
“We are excited to be a part of a solution for their customers and team and excited for this opportunity,” said Jill Bommarito, founder and CEO of Ethel’s Baking, in a LinkedIn post.
The gluten-free Pecan Dandy, the original pecan pie bar, features three layers of shortbread base, kettle-cooked caramel and large pecan halves. The Turtle Dandy pie bars are made with the brand’s signature shortbread base, kettle-cooked caramel and whole pecan halves, topped with melted chocolate chips. The Raspberry Crumble bars include a shortbread base filled with homemade raspberry jam and topped with crumbly streusel.
Consumers can find Ethel’s Baking Co. products in the freezers of Walmart’s fresh bakery departments nationwide.
