READING, PA — Unique Snacks, a family-owned and operated snack manufacturer, announced the promotion of two of its team members following a successful 2023.
Norm Cross was promoted to VP, brand and sales marketing, and Jacob Merrill was upped to director of e-commerce.
Cross will help continue Unique Snacks’ growth in grocery chain ACV, DSD distribution and its expansion throughout convenience store chains, club stores, drug stores and e-commerce.
Merrill will manage online sales, marketing and fulfillment for the Unique Snacks web store and expand the company’s Amazon marketplace.
The promotions come as a result of the company’s growth in 2023. Unique Snacks’ brick-and-mortar distribution sales increased 18% year-over-year, while its Amazon sales grew 20% year-over-year. Last year, the brand also launched its latest innovation, Puffzels, with distribution in over 25 major retail chains.
