Undercover Snacks announces launch into Eastern Canada Costco stores

EAST HANOVER, NJ — Undercover Snacks, a woman-owned and rapidly growing manufacturer of better-for-you snacks, is expanding the distribution of its Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Quinoa Crisps.

The company has launched this plant-based, best-selling product in 70 Costco wholesale locations across Eastern Canada, including Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador. This launch follows Undercover’s success in recent launches at Costco retailers across the Southeast and San Francisco Bay Area regions in the US.

Undercover’s new 15.3-oz. bag, priced at $11.99 CAD ($8.70 USD), provides phenomenal value for the brand’s award-winning snacks, which are gluten-free, allergen-friendly and sustainably sourced. Undercover’s Chocolate Quinoa Crisps, made of crispy quinoa covered in premium chocolate, offer permissible indulgence with superfood protein and lower sugar and calories.

Launched in 2017, the snack brand quickly established itself in the better-for-you snack and confection space with its Chocolate Quinoa Crisps. Levy build the business after two of her three daughters were diagnosed with celiac disease, creating a line of tasty snacks that also boast claims including gluten-free, nut-free and major allergen-free, with the exception of dairy when it is used in the milk chocolate variety. All snacks are also non-GMO and Rainforest Alliance certified, peanut-free, kosher and halal.

With strong demand after Undercover’s launch in Northeastern Whole Foods Market stores, the company built a state-of-the-art production facility in New Jersey in late 2018, obtaining the highest level of SQF certification available for food safety and quality in 2019 and each year since.

Undercover is sold in more than 15,000 retail locations across North America and is quickly expanding its distribution in retail locations around the world.
