PASADENA, CA — Last Crumb, a luxury, small-batch cookie brand known for its pun-inspired product names, is introducing a new flavor to its collection called “Ooh, Baby.”

Honoring his Filipino heritage, Derek Jaeger, head baker and co-founder of Last Crumb, wanted to bring a taste of authentic, fresh-from-the-Philippines ube to the American sweet goods market.

The ube-flavored cookie features real ube halaya (a purple yam jam), house-made ube buttercream, pure ube extract and a sprinkling of toasted ube cookie dough.

Other cookie flavors in the brand’s portfolio include Everything But The Candles (Birthday Cake), When Life Gives You Lemons (Lemon Bar), and The Floor Is Lava (Chocolate Lava).

The new cookie flavor will be available on Oct. 1 on the Last Crumb website, available in a 3-pack, half-dozen or dozen-count box.
