TikTok posts influence latest Goldfish flavor

CAMDEN, NJ — Spicy Dill Pickle Goldfish are hitting the shelves this summer as a limited-edition snack. Goldfish, a Pepperidge Farm brand, developed the new flavor using social media data that included more than 300 million pickle-related TikTok posts and 53 million requests for extra spice.

“Overwhelming demand on social media and even a petition for a pickle flavor fueled the creation of our new Spicy Dill Pickle cracker,” said Janda Lukin, senior VP and chief marketing officer of Campbell’s Snacks.

The snack combines red chili peppers and dill pickle flavor into the Goldfish Original crackers. The flavor is the brand’s summer LTO, similar to the Old Bay Goldfish from summer 2023.

The crackers are available at retailers nationwide for an SRP of $3.69.
