LA JOLLA, CA — CaliBagels, a San Diego-based bagel company, partnered up with Thomas’, a brand under the Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU) umbrella known for its breakfast items, to develop, manufacture and distribute Thomas’ branded Deli Style Bagel Chips across the US.

The collaboration will combine Thomas’ signature bagel flavor profiles with CaliBagels’ crispy chips, bringing a new offering to the snack aisle next year.

“Thomas’ is a brand that consumers know and trust, and this partnership allows us to bring their powerful equity into a new, fast-growing snack format,” said Phil Gorman, founder of CaliBagels. “We’re excited to lead the way with a chip that starts with real bagel flavors and delivers the authentic Thomas’ experience in every bite.”

Thomas’ leads the US market in grocery store bagel sales, holding the top position in the refrigerated and pre-packaged bagel category across most major grocery chains. By pairing CaliBagels’ manufacturing experience with Thomas’ national footprint, the partnership is set to drive incremental retail growth.

“We are excited about this partnership, which extends Thomas’ beloved variety of offerings and empowers our brand to reach beyond the breakfast table,” said Nicole Kane, VP and GM, breakfast category, for Thomas’.

The launch of Thomas’ Deli Style Bagel Chips builds on the brand’s breakfast identity while broadening its presence into the snack and deli aisles. The chips will deliver a texture and taste that mirrors Thomas’s bagels, with a thicker, crispier twist.

The bagel chips will be distributed nationally through grocery, mass retail and specialty channels beginning in 2026, with expanded flavor formats expected later in the year.
