WESTERVILLE, OH — The Marzetti Co., parent company to baked goods brands including Sister Schubert and New York Bakery, has appointed Greg Hughes to its board of directors.

“We are thrilled to welcome Greg to the Marzetti Board,” said Alan Harris, chair. “His experience leading food and beverage companies will be a tremendous asset to the organization.”

Hughes currently serves as president and CEO of Suntory Global Spirits, a role he’s occupied since 2023. He joined the company in 2015 and, prior to being named president and CEO, held roles as chief growth and brands officer and GM of North America. He’s previously held leadership positions with Kraft and Bel Brands.

“He has a deep understanding of marketing, brand development and operational excellence,” Harris concluded, “which will benefit the board and management as The Marzetti Co. continues to execute its growth strategy.”
