The Greater Knead intros reformulation, new look

BENSALEM, PA — To celebrate its 13th anniversary, The Greater Knead has unveiled an updated packaging design and reformulation to elevate the texture of its allergen- and gluten-free baked goods.

“The allergen-free community deserves more safe options that don’t compromise on taste or texture,” said Michelle Carfagno, founder and CEO of The Greater Knead. “Our mission is to create baked goods with breakthrough taste and texture, with real ingredients, that adhere to strict allergen control protocols, and ensure our consumers feel safe with every bite. The new look offers a vibrant, eye-catching medium to inform prospective consumers about the products and respective attributes, such as their non-GMO, kosher and Top 9 allergen-free status.

On the reformulation side, The Greater Kneads’ flagship bagels and soft pretzel nuggets were adjusted to achieve a soft interior and crisp crust through food technology and advanced manufacturing processes. This supports the baking company’s goal to remain at the forefront of the gluten- and allergen-free segment.

Since its 2014 launch, the brand’s footprint has expanded to more than 1,000 retailers, including Sprouts Farmers Market, Wegmans, Whole Foods Market, Shop Rite and The Fresh Market. The Greater Kneads also offers an array of site-exclusive bagel flavors such as Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Spice and French Toast.
