CHICAGO — Sweetmore Bakeries, a Chicago-based set of specialty bakeries, announced the acquisition of Sweet Eddie’s Inc., a wholesale manufacturer of cinnamon rolls and other baked goods.

This acquisition will expand the products offered by Sweetmore Bakeries across foodservice and retail channels.

This acquisition follows the establishment of Sweetmore through the unification of three bakeries — Main Street Gourmet, Biscotti Brothers Bakery and Meurer Brothers Bakery — in 2022.
