COLLEGEDALE, TN — Desire for indulgence and the continued rise of “little treat culture” are leading consumers toward the cookie aisle. There, they’ll find McKee Foods’ new addition to its Little Debbie brand: Soft Baked Cookies.

“Little Debbie has long been known for creme-filled cookies,” said Chuck Clevenger, associate brand manager at McKee Foods. “Now we are offering new traditional Soft Baked Cookies that deliver the soft, satisfying texture today’s consumers want.”

Available in two varieties — Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter — each cookie is individually wrapped for a convenient treat.

The Chocolate Chip Cookie has a light, golden-brown appearance with semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly distributed throughout. The Peanut Butter Cookie is formulated with real peanut butter for an authentic nutty flavor and a golden-brown finish.

“By combining a bakery-style experience with the convenience of a 3-ounce individually wrapped package, we’ve created a treat that is perfect for any on-the-go snacking occasion,” Clevenger said.”

Consumers can purchase the new Little Debbie cookies now at retailers nationwide.
