LAWRENCE, MA — Following its recent acquisition of the brand, Joseph’s Bakery is investing in the next chapter of Tumaro’s, a carb-friendly and Keto-certified wraps brand.

Tumaro’s has built a large consumer base for its better-for-you wraps, with signature varieties including Multi Grain, Premium White and Whole Wheat, in addition to its flavor-forward offerings such as Everything Bagel, Classic Sourdough and Protein Flex.

Joseph’s Bakery, a manufacturer of pita, lavash flatbreads and wraps, has been the exclusive co-packing partner for Tumaro’s for more than a decade, making the acquisition a natural evolution of its long-standing relationship. With improved formulations, refreshed packaging and stronger promotional support, Tumaro’s is well-positioned to scale up as a national wrap brand.

“Tumaro’s has tremendous potential because it brings something truly different to the category,” said Stephen Boghos, VP of business development and third-generation owner of Joseph’s Bakery. “We’re incredibly proud and excited to guide the brand into its next phase of growth, just as we have strengthened and expanded the Joseph’s brand through long-term dedication, investment and support.”

Tumaro’s is building strong momentum as the brand accelerates its distribution footprint, expanding to e-commerce channels and more than 6,000 retailers. Looking ahead, Joseph’s Bakery plans to reinvigorate the brand through promotional activity and continued portfolio innovation.
