CAMDEN, NJ — Pepperidge Farm is offering health-conscious consumers a new option in the bread aisle with the release of its Farmhouse Thin-Sliced Sandwich Breads.

The new bread line from The Campbell’s Co. brand delivers the same full-body flavor of traditional breads but in a thinner-sliced format. Pepperidge Farm’s latest portfolio addition is available in four varieties: Sourdough, Butter Bread, 100% Whole Wheat and 15-Grain.

“We know that consumers are increasingly looking for sandwich bread options with reduced calories, but we believe you shouldn’t ever have to sacrifice taste,” said Ama Auwarter, VP of Pepperidge Farm bakery marketing at Campbell Snacks. “Our new Thin-Sliced Sandwich Breads provide consumers with the thoughtfully crafted, full flavor bread that they have loved for years — just a smaller portion to meet their needs with only 70 calories per slice.”

Pepperidge Farm Thin-Sliced Sandwich Breads are available in a 14-ounce, 16-slice package for an SRP of $3.69.

Earlier this month, the brand released Caramel Brioche Swirl bread, a new indulgent breakfast bread offering.
