EAST HANOVER, NJ — With the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it can be difficult to carve out times to take breaks. Oreo Thins and Microsoft 365 are teaming up to make “adulting” more fun.

Starting today, consumers can sign up for a Thinvite, a 15-minute calendar hold through Microsoft Teams, to encourage workers to take a midday snack break.

“Oreo Thins Cookies have always been the perfect cookie for adults, and we’re teaming up with Microsoft 365 to solve an issue aggravating adult everywhere – the decline of the workday snack break,” said Sky Thompson, brand manager for Oreo. “We are not only giving our fans permission to take that break, but we are also going a step further to create a calendar hold, called Thinvite, that frees 15 minutes of time in their day.“

The Thinvite will be blocked off from Nov. 1-3 from 2:00-2:15 ET. Each attendee will receive a calendar invite that will include a link to the Microsoft Teams event that will stream a video produced by the two companies called “Return to Pawfice” that shows the day in the life of what eight puppies in the office would look like.

To put the snack in snack break, Oreo Thins has released a limited-edition Oreo Thins Snack Break Expansion Cookie Pack. The pack featuring six snack-size 4-count packs of the cookies that can only be added to consumer carts once they have signed up for the Thinvite. The snack pack is free, excluding a shipping and handling price of $3.95, and is available while supplies last.

With every “expansion pack” there is a Clippy Dippy accessory — a mess-free dunking tool inspired by Microsoft’s original digital office assistant — that allows consumers to keep their hands and desk area clean while they are eating Oreos.
