NASHVILLE, TN — Nature’s Bakery is taking its snacks to the ball game at First Horizon Park with its Summer Sidekick Tour.
The branded VW tour bus will hand out over 90,000 samples over the course of three days, giving attendees of the Nashville Sounds Minor League Baseball games an opportunity to try the brand’s plant-based, soft-baked bars.
The bus will be at the Nashville Sounds Stadium at 19 Jackson St. in Nashville, TN, during the following days:
- Aug. 4 | 5:35 – 9:35 p.m.
- Aug. 5 | 5:35 – 9:35 p.m.
- Aug. 6 | 5:05 – 9:05 p.m.
This marks the second stop on the brand’s Summer Sidekick Tour, which previously stopped in Boston and will head to Chicago later this month. Over the whole tour, Nature’s Bakery will have distributed more than 650,000 samples of its Brownies and bars such as Whole Wheat Figs, Gluten-Free Figs, Oatmeal Crumbles, and Baked-Ins.
“The idea of our Summer Sidekick Tour came to life when our team dreamed up ways to connect with our community and introduce ourselves to new consumers this summer,” said Hanna Teklu, senior director, marketing communications at Nature’s Bakery. “Sampling is very important for our brand because we know that it is essential to convert triers to buyers. We built a scalable experiential program to sample our full portfolio of bars and determined the best way to execute our vision was to engage communities during their summer adventures when snacks are a welcome surprise.”
In addition to sampling Nature’s Bakery products, guests can also enjoy photo opportunities, fabric beach chairs, summer beach balls and more.
“We’re popping up where our audience is already making memories: favorite outdoor spots, concerts, sporting events and local community events,” Teklu said. “At these summer hangouts, we’re connecting with consumers to insert Nature’s Bakery products into their summer activities, and distributing coupons that drive consumers to retail.”
Following the brand’s mission of nourishing families, the tour bus is to show consumers the convenience of snack bars.
