MONTREAL, QC — Global baking ingredient company Puratos celebrated the opening of its Innovation Centre in Montreal.
The new location joins the original facility in Mississauga, Ontario, and the second in Chilliwack, British Columbia. This third Canadian location enhances the company’s capabilities to support baking solutions for more businesses, specifically in the Quebec market.
“Puratos believes that innovation thrives on collaboration,” said Michael Simone, president of Puratos Canada. “The new center will be a dynamic space where customers can engage directly with their experts, participate in workshops and co-create new products. This hands-on approach ensures that the solutions developed are perfectly aligned with customer needs and expectations.”
The 3,500-square-foot Montreal facility’s equipment includes a full-size laminator and two separate proofers, with a 140-quart Hobart mixer set to be installed soon. It is also powered by clean electricity, including energy-efficient lighting and equipment that aligns with Puratos’ global sustainability efforts.
Customers can schedule appointments to connect with Puratos’ team to work through consumer trends, recipe development and more.
